"Oh what a friend you have in........" ~ Author Charles L. Robinson Jr.

A very familiar saying is "oh what a friend we have in Jesus" which is a uniquely (one of a kind) precious friendship. Just as God the Father has made available his only begotten son Jesus for you, he has made available other people like Jesus for your pleasurable friendships. Take time today and reflect on the provoking of love and good works, faithful encouragements, help relieving of burdens, loving care and concern illustrated through accountability to the faith, and all the other Christ-like virtues that you have been graced with through friendships that God has made available for you. Remember, you humbly deserve these type of friendships not by one's merit but by the grace of God, God desires for each to possess these virtues and he has created each for each other. "Enjoy your "Oh what a friend I have in......... (whoever they are)"moments and take out time and thank them for the "Oh" they have created in your life.

P.S. - If you are still waiting for these type of friendships you deserve them. I believe with you (already praying for you) that they are coming! Make sure you keep your heart (and mind) open and soft for the receiving. Remember, God does heart transplants that makes people believe and do no different (they become new creatures) and you are a recipient of them being a new creature, in the name of Jesus.

"And let us consider one another to provoke love and to good works" Hebrews 10:24

"But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin". Hebrews 3:13

"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ" Galatians 6:1-2

"And he that died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new". 2 Corinthians 5:15-17
