There's a such thing as having good intent being in good standings with God in the midst of a messy circumstance. The messy circumstance doesn't change one's good intent. However, the good intent can create a perception that promotes the mess which manifests stumblingblocks. Therefore, it's best to do nothing (even in good intent being in good standings with God) that creates stumblingblocks. Today's devotion is a loving reminder to not let your good be evil spoken of.
