"Doings exemplify Thinkings: A reflection of growth. "

1/26/23 weekly devotion (Weeklies) originated by Charles L. Robinson Jr. of Edifying Christian Publications:

Your sanctified life can be maintained. Just as you could trust and validate (in your past) your non-sanctified life could be maintained, you can trust and validate (now) your sanctified life can be maintained. You can be so attached to Christ (liken to a slave to Christ) that you remain attached to the things of Christ (yoked-bondservant of Christ.) So attached to Christ that if your doings and your thinkings are not of Christ it would be unnatural (to you.) Therefore, your doings and your thinking process (that reflects sanctification) in relation to Christ (now) is proper and not self-righteous. If it is not self-righteous, then what is it? It's a reflection of your personal growth. Profoundly, the Apostle Paul identifies doings (flesh as an example) to exemplify thinkings which ultimately reflects personal growth. You don't think or act like a child, remain encouraged, you have put childish things away. Again, is this self-righteous? No, through your conversion you have been gifted with abilities by the grace of God through Christ Jesus. It's written, believe it, receive it, and embrace it. Admittedly, your sanctification can be misunderstood but it is a good and God desired thing and Jesus is coming back for it.

"I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh; for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things are death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants of God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:19-23

God bless you and your family!
