4/14/23 ECP Blurb: "It's ok, express your emotions" originated-authored by Charles L. Robinson Jr.

4/14/23 ECP Blurb originated-authored by Charles L. Robinson Jr. of Edifying Christian Publications:

The Apostle Paul expressed stern correction to the church at Corinth. Projecting heaviness towards the church was purposed for the church's transformation rather than their condemnation or the Apostle's superiority. In the midst of hostile, mysterious strength and care unveils through sympathy as the Apostle remains open and honest to both the church and himself. His emotion (sympathy) remained subjugated to the spirit of God (not the flesh.)

I encourage you to remain open and honest to both others and yourself regarding your emotions. Remember, you can remain strong and safe expressing your emotions. Your emotions will keep you safe with God, others, and yourself as they (your emotions) remain submissive to the spirit of God. You and your families have a wonderful day.

"For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for you were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing" 2 Corinthians 7:8-9
