Hello, ECP Family and whoever else reads this weekly devotion. This week it is on my heart to share words of life briefly on the issue of questioning the faith (Christian Faith) and/or leaving the faith (Chrisitan Faith) specifically due to personal experiences within the faith (Chrisitan Faith.) Statistics show that there are various top reasons people question and/or leave the faith (Chrisitan Faith), however, for the sake of a concentrated discussion, we will briefly focus on one of the top reasons: Questioning and/or leaving the faith (Chrisitan Faith) due to behavioral experiences within the faith (as the faith - Chrisitan faith has been declining in numbers.) The hope is the following words of life help the unquestioning established believer in Christ to greater share genuine hope to those who question and/or have left the faith (Chrisitan Faith) and impart genuine hope to those who read this brief devotion directly that question or have left the faith (Christian Faith.)

First and foremost, let's establish an understanding of "behavioral experience within the faith - Christian Faith". Here we are talking about professing followers of Christ legitimately experiencing contrariness of obedience to the faith within the faith (deemed by the word of God) and not ignorance of the faith (I say ignorance of the faith because true behavior of the faith can be ignorantly identified as false behavior of the faith simply due to lack of knowledge of the faith, lack of knowledge of the word of God.) So, for clarity purposes, we are talking about circumstances whereby people question the faith and/or left the faith (Christian Faith) due to their personal experience(s) of legitimate contrariness of the faith amongst those professing the faith.

Be encouraged, what you see, God sees. What you feel, God feels. No excuse, there can be a disparity between one's profession of faith and doing of the faith that creates distrust toward the faith. Experiences that are contrary to the expectations of the faith create distrust in the faith. However, the distrust is not within the actual expectation of the faith (the actual mark, standard, or goal), the distrust is in not fulfilling or living the actual expectation of the faith (not fulfilling or living the actual mark, standard, or goal) of the faith, but unfortunately the distrust at times falls on the actual expectation of the faith (the actual mark, standard, or goal of the faith) when the actual expectation of the faith is proven that it can be fulfilled, lived, and accomplished (the mark, standard, and goal is real due to it's witness of being fulfilled and lived.) Now, true believers falls recover through repentance (evidence of change to the expected mark, standard, or goal) that exemplifies the "falling short of the glory of God" accepting and receiving the provided-gifted power of God (through Christ Jesus) which ultimately expresses recovered genuine fulfillment of the faith's expectation while others will be false believers and (respectfully said and biblically proven) will not accept and receive the provided-gifted power of God (through Christ Jesus.) The Son of Man (Jesus) does sow good seed (true believers - wheat) in the field (this present world) and the enemy of the Son of Man (the Devil) plants tares (weeds-darnel, false believers) in the field (this present world) amongst the good seed (true believers - wheat) who all look alike but eventually are distinguished. So again, what you see, God sees. What you feel, God feels. No excuse, it's real.

The same one true God (through Christ Jesus) who sees, feels, and makes no excuses regarding the existence of true believers and false believers, is the same one true God (through Christ Jesus) that illustrates that the effects of experiencing expectations of the faith not being fulfilled should not be a reason (there is no reason) to question or leave the faith (Christian Faith.) You can't change true believers and false believers existing amongst each other in this present world (i.e - there is no permanent separation now in this present world.) Even in circumstances whereby God illustrates to distance yourself from certain behavior contrary to the expectation of faith (for example- abstaining-shunning), the exact behavior you distance yourself does not escape you from living in this present world amongst behaviors contrary to the expectations of the faith. Actually, there are things to be learned from expectations that do not fulfill the expectations of the faith (it can promote growth) while not having the ability to be permanently separated now in this present world. When you eventually meet Christ, Christ is the same one Savior and your salvation (harvest time - fellowship with God forever) is determined on you keeping your faith in Christ irrelevant of your personal experience (good or bad) within the faith. Questioning or leaving the faith due to people (people saying or doing something contrary to the expectation of faith) gives people too much power within your eternal destiny (who did you expect to save you- people) when Jesus Christ controls the permanent separation and your personal saving destiny now and forever. So, who is really your Savior? People or Jesus? Jesus. Keep the faith in Christ (no matter what) for your personal sake and to help God's cause for others sake. God bless you and your families and I speak joy, peace, and love of Christ into all your lives. Please share this devotion with others for their encouragement and a weapon of spiritual warfare to put the devil under foots while number of believers (the Chrisitan faith) maintains and increases in numbers. Why? Heaven rejoices and God gets his due harvest while lives experience now and eternal bliss.

"Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him and said, 'Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.' And he said, 'The one who sows the good seed is' the Son of man, and then field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of age; and the reapers are the angels. So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will end forth his angels, and they will gather out his Kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear". Matthew 13:36-44
