Kindness can be perceived as weakness; non-responsiveness can be perceived as naiveness; and slow to expose can be perceived as scared when kindness, non-responsiveness, and slow to expose are some ingredients of true love. You may not be able to control people's perceptions and ultimate outcomes but you can control to choose true love throughout people's misperceptions and destinations to various outcomes. The Apostle Paul's life exemplified love and his love was misunderstood by some people (some Corinthians) identified by needful-strategical exposition on the ingredients of love in one of his most corrective epistles (1 Corinthians) to some people (some Corinthians) that misunderstood his doctrine and behaviors (yet his doctrine and behaviors reflected true love.) I encourage you to exchange love and understand that it (your love) oftentimes will be misunderstood. Keep the hope for increased eyewitnessing regarding revelations of love (understandings of the nature of true love) just as the Apostle Paul eyewitnessed the Corinthians (by the majority) regaining understanding of the nature of true love (in 2 Corinthians.) God bless you and your families, have a beautiful day!
"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things". 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
