If faith seems to be contradiction that creates confusion, I want you to keep in mind the following three basic principles: 1) God handles issues in different ways (not just one way) and he instructs for things to be handled on his behalf in different ways (again, not just one set way to handle circumstances.) 2) God is never wrong meaning that even though his instructions may vary (even in a same circumstance), handling things differently is still correct. 3) God has no ill intent meaning in the midst of handling things differently at times, at the end of the day, he (God) always means good.
See what happens sometimes is that the conception of contradiction-confusion represents one still using his or her own logic not getting him or herself out of the way and allowing God to get in all the way. The three above principles hopefully helps one stay out of the way which allows him or her to be a true follower ( of God.) When you follow you simply follow and trust the leader (God) even when the leader (God) who operates not in a box, all knowing, and always has good intent handles things differently at times. ~ Charles L. Robinson Jr.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Share this devotion with others as a loving reminder that when you follow God, you simply follow God. You simply trust everything that the not in a box, all knowing, no ill intent leader (God) does and instructs.
