Some intricacies within seasons of divine assignments are purposes, methods, and durations. One of several questions to be conscious of and in tune with is, is the assignment finished? Or at least finished for the given moment. The Bible says “And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa” meaning Peter literally remained in Joppa after eyewitnessing a movement of increasing faith throughout Joppa. A crucial point, it’s implied that Peter did not have to remain in Joppa, he could have left Joppa. Peter was conscious of and in tune with his assignment not being finished. Peter remaining in Joppa opportuned nurturing growing faith and continuously establishing new faith. Peter departing would have missed nurturings and plantings. That’s why it’s so important to be conscious of and in tune with the question, is the assignment finished? You and your families have a wonderful day!
“And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord. And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner” Acts 9:42-43
