Going against the grain purposed for meaningful-favorable results can be positive. Is complacent comforts that accompany not going against the grain that produce meaningless -non favorable results positive? No, it successfully produces comforts but not necessarily positivity because positivity equates to the ultimate goal of favorableness and sometimes going against the grain can be positivity that arrives to the goal (of favorable results -favorable change.) If this is not true, does not going against the grain automatically produce meaningful-favorable results- favorable change? I think not, it did not in Jesus earthly ministry days and does not now in current days, just look at the world today. Complacent comforts of not going against the grain has not automatically produced meaningful-favorable results- favorable changed needed today. Keep in mind, Jesus wanted then (and still wants now) the ultimate goal of peace and he purposefully went against the grain at times for greater potential to achieve the ultimate goal of peace. So, for the consensus of going against the grain being not so positive (a negative thing), is it really that positive to sometimes not go against the grain? Food for thought: Jesus went against the grain sometimes, was Jesus not so positive? Was Jesus so negative? You and your families have a wonderful day!
Think not that I come to send peace on earth, I come not to send peace, but a sword - Matthew 10:34
