This week's devotion is a biblical concept to ponder on this week that's birthed from me visiting my son Caleb C. Robinson this week. In our conversation eating popcorn while watching a movie (our common entertainment), my son Caleb brought to my attention the scripture Hebrews 12:11. It's a scripture that was reminded to him from a football trainer that shared it with him. The scripture (Hebrews 12:11) deals with personal growth and maturity birthed from discipline (discipline with a common connotation of experiencing inner resistance from strict discipline.) The first thing that came to my mind was how important it is for one to ask him or herself the question - How can it be used to grow me? Why is it important to ask yourself this question? Because besides experiencing inner resistance from strict discipline as a means to develop your personal growth, you experiencing inner gentleness (gentleness contrary to resistance) also can help towards your growth and maturity (multi methods of training.) So irrelevant of the temperature you are experiencing in your inner in any circumstance, ask in all circumstances - How can it be used to grow me? Being mindful of consistently asking yourself this question tremendously helps your mind to stay focused away from danger territories such as doubt and quitting because no matter the circumstance and it's temperature, you can grow from it. How can it be used to grow me?

You and your families have a wonderful week in the midst of your sweet fellowship, it has been amazing moments (as always) spending time with my son Caleb C. Robinson.

"All DISCIPLINE for the moment seems not to be joyful, but SORROWFUL; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness" Hebrews 12:11 *This is an example of experiencing resistance positioning your personal growth

"Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, RESTORE such one IN a spirit of GENTLENESS, each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted" Galatians 6:1 *This is an example of you experiencing gentleness positioning your personal growth.
