The Holy Spirit has led me to present the previous five devotions with themes that have been potentially challenging than previous themes. Themes such as: You think it's spiritual but it could be carnal or demonic; Going against the grain can be positive; You may not think he or she is winning but they are winning; Even if it comes across derogatory, it can still be edifying; and Deal with whatever consequence for the sake of standing up for correct reasons. I say this respectfully, simply to respectfully emphasize a point: I have often experienced circumstances whereby years of faith and church life has been almost greater than my age and certain doctrines have not even been heard of, challenging, or literally not received. This clearly identifies the need of building tolerances for all sound doctrine. If you have read the previous five devotions, how's your heart? If you have not read the previous five devotions, feel free to read the previous five devotions and ask, how's your heart? The themes within the previous five devotions have been potentially challenging but more importantly biblical and now is a great time to evaluate hearts regarding potential challenging biblical themes (if not these specific themes, what other challenging themes that are potentially challenging but biblical.) The Holy Spirit remained and remains extremely conscious of stewardship regarding potential challenging biblical issues for spiritual wellness (articulated below through both Matthew and the Apostle Paul.) Why? Because it's part of spiritual wellness. For you, have these specific themes or possibly other themes, EASY to receive and apply? CHALLENGED to receive and apply? Or, NOT to receive and not to apply? I pray for your continuous existing reception and application and your upcoming (believed by faith) reception and application for all biblically sound doctrine whether challenging or not challenging for your spiritual health. You and your families have a wonderful day!
"Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in the heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed in stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receive it: Yet he hath not root in himself, but dureth for a while: but when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the cares of this world, and becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it: which also bear fruit, and bringeth forth, some hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty" Matthew 13:18-23
"For the time will come that they will not endure sound doctrine; but their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itchy ears; And they shall turn way their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables" 2 Timothy 4:3-4
