9/30/26 "Just Checking In" ~ From (Originated by) Charles L. Robinson Jr.
Hello, My ECP family and whoever else finds this message. As always, I'm standing in the gap in prayer for you and your families to the throne of God in the third heaven with Jesus Christ the one mediator, the way-truth-life at his (Father God's) right hand. What's on my heart this week to share with you for your peace and enduring hope is a loving reminder regarding your personal value specifically in the nature of you reminding yourself about you being worthy-valuable.
Being reminded by others regarding your personal value is awesome and holds its belief (the belief about you being valuable) by you personally being convinced within yourself that you are worthy-valuable. You have to be convinced within your ownself regarding your personal value in order for your personal value to really sink in your mind and heart. The same you that has to be convinced about your personal value is the same you that needs to remind yourself to be convinced. In other words, being convinced about your personal value from your own voice has more convincing power to you than hearing your personal value from other voices (a strategy of Apostle Paul's illustrated in the following.)
In the Apostle Paul's encouragement regarding each person's God given gifts-talents, he instructed (in second person dialogue for them to focus on themselves) each person to think about their personal value identified by their specific God given gifts-talents. The Apostle did not tell each believer at Rome to not think about him or herself. What did the Apostle say? He said that when he or she does think about him or herself, just don't possess conceit, haughtiness, or self-righteousness about self. He wanted them to think about their various personal value identified by their God given gifts-talents. How were they to operate in their God given gifts-talents? They couldn't operate in their personal gifts-talents without being aware of their gifts-talents (which required thought.) How could they help others through their personal gifts-talents? They were to believe that their given gifts-talents would be helpful to others (which required thought.) So, The Apostle Paul wanted everyone of them to think about their personal value for self which inevitably helped others (just not to possess personal conceit, haughtiness, or self-righteousness.)
Today's walkaway: "You (everyone) have personal value, your personal value is God given legitimate, and strategically your personal value has greatest convincing power to yourself being heard by your own voice which helps you and inevitably others. Therefore, remind yourself about your personal value." ~ God Speed! Charles L. Robinson Jr. (Edifying Christian Publications - Consolations LLC.)
"For by the grace given me, I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophecy in accordance with your faith; if it's serving, then serve; if it's teaching , then teach; if it's encouragement, then give encouragement; if it's giving, then give generously; if it's to lead, do it diligently; if it's to show mercy, do it cheerfully" Romans 12:3-8
