11/5/26 ~ "Just Checking In" ~ From (Originated by) Charles L. Robinson Jr.
Hello, My ECP family and whoever else finds this message. In my weekly devotional readings, I came across a pericope that made me ask a few questions to myself that I feel compelled for you to ask yourselves:
At the expense of doing the correct thing(s) in life, how willing are you to be perceived in a negative manner by some knowing that that your negative image (while doing the correct thing) potentially will never change with some? Can you pay for it or is it too expensive? I hope you can pay for doing the correct thing (the cost being losing your reputation for doing the correct thing.) King David paid and said he would keep paying (it cost his reputation but he done the correct thing.)
You and your families have a wonderful remaining of your week. God Speed! ~ Charles L. Robinson Jr. (Edifying Christian Publications - Consolations LLC.)
"David said to Michal, 'It was before the Lord, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the Lord's people Israel - I will celebrate before the Lord. I will be more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor". 2 Samuel 6:21-22
