Hello, My ECP Family and whoever else finds this message. I'm doing a periodical check in with you. It's so good to be talking to you. I have missed you and been praying for goodness pertaining to you and your families.
I would like to share this with you: Maturity and responsibility has a characteristic that's oftentimes forgotten amongst other characteristics that consist of maturity and responsibility. In other words, when you think of characteristics that illustrates someone (including you) being mature and responsible, there's a characteristic that oftentimes is not even thought of. Ironically, this characteristic of maturity and responsibility that oftentimes is forgotten is commonly mistaken as immaturity and irresponsibility. What is this characteristic? Carefreeness. Carefreeness is living life with a conscious intent to not worry about issues of life. Being carefree maturely and responsibly helps maintain an inner lightness that helps keep away inner heaviness that creates worries, fears, etc.
If the people (Jesus's actual disciples) lived with a conscious intent to not worry (lived more carefree), then they would have had a much greater chance to not become consumed with worry and fear of other's God-given gifts. Watch this: At the time, the disciples did not even realize they were unhealthily consumed (worried) about other's God-given gifts. The carefree character of a child would help take away their worries and fears. Later in their lives, they lived surrendered which exemplified no worries and fears amongst other's God given gifts. They lived carefree amongst other's gifts which illustrated maturity and responsibility towards other's gifts.
Remember, "carefree can help keep maturity and responsibility to stay and help keep worries away!"
"At the time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them,. And he said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and come like a little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefor who takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me" Matthew 18:1-5
