Hello, My ECP Family and whoever else finds this message. It's Saturday and I absolutely love what my personal time management has in store for me personally on weekends. I hope you and your family is also having a nice end of the week and I believe for your days this upcoming week to be wonderful. I hope this week[s thought (principle) helps you!
Sometimes there's a time within circumstances that it's just "you, yourself, and I" the only one personally positioned and placed to contribute help towards a given circumstance. In that given circumstance, you shouldn't wait forever (procrastinate forever) to look for help in the circumstance, you shouldn't fear that will not get help in the circumstance, and you shouldn't doubt that you will get help in the circumstance. You simply have to ensure that you are personally prepared (ready yourself to contribute to the cause) and trust God for help. Think about it: You can successfully get help, but what good is help if you are not personally prepared (personally positioned and placed) for your part in the help. So, this week's biblical thought (principle) is: Be confident in getting the required-proper help you need for any given circumstance in life (by trusting in God) but don't forget first and foremost to be personally prepared (personally positioned and placed) to contribute your part of the help.
I meditated on this a lot: The women (Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome) went to the tomb of Jesus not expecting to remove the stone of the tomb themselves and did not know who would help to remove the stone from the tomb. How did they (the women) even know they would get help? They did not know that the angel was going to remove the stone. There are two simple conclusions: 1) They knew they would not get the help if they were not personally positioned and placed to get help. The text says that they were afraid of the angel (at first) when they arrived at the tomb but the text does not give indication that they were afraid (feared) or doubted the stone would not be removed before going to the tomb and they definitely did not procrastinate hoping for help (they physically went to the tomb not even knowing if they would get help) which takes us to the second conclusion 2) They simply trusted (believed) they would get help not even knowing who would help. Parallelling this: Jesus himself was personally positioned and placed to get help. He had to first and foremost be personally laid in the tomb for the circumstance (the world's salvation) and he trusted The Father for help! God Speed! ~ Charles L. "When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome brought spices so that they might go anoint Jesus body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, 'Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?' But when they looked up, they saw the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. Don't be alarmed, he said, 'You are looking for Jesus of Nazereth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him'" mark 16:1-6
