8/15/26 "Just Checking In" ~ From (Originated by) Charles L. Robinson Jr.

Hello, My ECP Family and whoever else finds this message. This week has seemed to be a long week but it has been a great week. Now even greater being that I can communicate with you nearing the end of this week. I hope our "Just Checking In" pow-wows each week has been helpful in some manner to you, your families, your friends, and others you feel our bible principles have been applicable to.

I would like to start our today's discussion with a question: Have you been so determined - adamant (unshakable) to not do or not say something because that specific something is literally not on your heart to do or say? Another question: Have you thought this? Some of the very things that you are so adamant to not do or not say is really supposed to be on your heart to do or say and God has to do a work in you to change your heart in order for you to actually do it or say it. Now, I'm not saying that everything that is not on your heart to do or not to say is supposed to be done or said. Why? Because somethings that are not on your heart to say or do can legitimately be called by God to not do or not say. All I'm saying is: Your adamant no's should be probed. Why? Because your heart can be deceitful (Matthew Henry states: There is that wickedness in our hearts which we ourselves are not aware of and do not suspect to be there; nay, it is a common mistake among the children of men to think themselves, their own hearts, a great deal better than they really are. Jeremiah 17:9 says: The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it.) Therefore, you can innocently think something should not be done or said that's a result of your own heart tricking you when that something actually should be done or said and get the answer for yourself and not solely from someone else (not saying others can't discern properly for you, however, you need to discern for yourself also.) The peace of God should rule in your heart making decisions regarding your no's, however, keep in mind that your sense of peace can potentially not be of God. So, as a loving reminder, I encourage you to probe your determined - adamant (unshakeable) no's to reassure you don't miss out in something amazing that resides in your change of heart that says do or say when before you would not do or not say.

The Apostle Paul and King Saul both had something amazing that they did not realize they were supposed to do. They both had peace but their peace was not of God. It was not on either of their hearts to do what God was really calling them to do and both had to deal with others that told then no but they got it (answers) for themselves when God changed their hearts and the real answer was yes (yes, do it.) God had to perform divine heart operations to change their hearts in order for them to realize, accept, and move past their adamant (unshakeable) no's.

Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God" Acts 9:15-21

"As Saul turned to Samuel, God changed Saul's heart, and these signs were filled that day. When he and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he joined their prophesying. When all those that formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they each asked each other, 'What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?" 1 Samuel 10:9-11

"When Samuel had all Israel come forward by tribes, the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot. Then he brought forward the tribe of Benjamim, clan by clan, and Matri's clan was taken. Finally Saul son of Kish was taken. But when they looked for him, he was not to be found. So they inquired further of the Lord, Has the man come here yet? And the Lord said, 'Yes he has hidden himself among the supplies'" 1 Samuel 10:20-22

"But Saul said, no one will be put to death today, for this day the Lord has rescued Israel. Then Samuel said to the people. 'Come let us go to Gilgal and there renew the kingship'. So all the people went to Gilgal, and made Saul King in the presence of the Lord. There they sacrificed fellowship offerings before the Lord, and Saul and all the Israelites held a great celebration" 1 Samuel 11:13-15
