John the Baptist didn't question his friend (Jesus.) John simply asked his friend (Jesus) a question to get a response so he (John) could sup with the character within his friend (Jesus) response. It was a response regarding the compassion to help others which was not a direct yes or no answer to the question. Jesus didn't question his friend (John) when being confronted with a question from his friend (John) that surficial seemed that his friend (John) potentially questioned him (Jesus.) Instead, Jesus spoke regarding his friend's (John's) character. Character alone within both John and Jesus's relationship brought intrinsic value to each other's lives.
ECP Followers, I exhort you to continue to be that guy, be that gal, in your relationships that brings intrinsic value to others through character. You and your families have a wonderful day!
"Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. " Matthew 11:2-6
"Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: not withstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he" Matthew 11:11
