An ECP Blurb originated by Charles L. Robinson Jr. of Edifying Christian Publications:
Sometimes divine wisdom says to you: "there's a need for change and it 'your change' is not because you erred". Your change is liken to a divine proclamation purposed to help others draw closer to Christ and it's essential for others to understand that your change is for their (others) betterment for Christ's sake and your change is not because you erred. Why is it essential for others to understand this biblical principle? Because if others think your change is because you erred then they (others) become diverted-distracted from their personal need to draw closer to Christ because they (others) are so focused on your so-called need to change. The Apostle Paul (in the below scriptural context) changed not because he erred, the Apostle Paul's change was liken to a divine proclamation to help others draw closer to Christ.
"And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethern, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend" 1 Corinthians 8:11-13
