Today's devotion is an encouraging reminder regarding the discipline of application (having general value) and relevance (having direct bearing on given circumstances at hand.) Biblical scriptures and biblical principles being available to all people opportunes this discipline. When personally dealing with biblical scriptures and biblical principles, keep in mind that the scriptures and principles are for the sake of others also. In doing so, it helps you remain mindful and sensitive to circumstances of others while simultaneously discipling your personal stewardship of application and relevance. Why is this important? Because biblical scriptures and biblical principles are always applicable (always possess general value) but not necessarily relevant (do not necessarily possess direct bearing to some in given circumstances at hand.) Not knowing the two and the difference between the two can promote non-peace (within self and amongst others) and knowing the two and the difference between the two can promote peace (within self and amongst others.). Note: Experience has taught me that it's an offence regulator. You and your families have a wonderful day and share this devotion with others to remind them of the discipline of application and relevance.

"For the hope that which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof you heard before in the word of truth of the gospel: Which is come to you, as in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grave of God in truth" Colossians 1:5-6
