10/16/26 "Just Checking In" ~ From (Originated by) Charles L. Robinson Jr.
Hello, My ECP family and whoever else finds this message. If you really think about it, the one thing that you all have in common is that "you have personal desires for specific optimistic outcomes in various circumstances of your lives (you have tendencies to hope for and expect the best in various circumstances of your lives.) While waiting for your optimistic outcome(s) to come to fruition, your wait can commonly prompt a multitude of scenarios surrounding your circumstance(s) that can make you think about the "IF'S" (what if this or what if that) regarding your specific circumstance(s.) This is a time that you can be potentially challenged to keep consistent optimism (you can be potentially challenged to keep consistent hope for the best and challenged to keep expectation for the best) regarding the outcome(s) of your circumstance(s.) The blessing is that you (everyone) realistically have a remedy to keep consistent optimism while waiting for optimistic outcome(s.)
Your remedy is simply "do not allow all the noise (the IF's) in your circumstance(s) to distract you from a factor that helps you remain in ultimate control to remain optimistic and that factor is 'you'". In other words, no matter the IF'S (no matter if this or if that), the IF'S have no more control than what you allow the IF'S to have. If you allow the IF'S to have more control in your circumstance than the IF'S deserve, then that's when your optimism can be rattled- shaken. So, realistically, in the midst of all the IF"S that can legitimately challenge your optimistic desired outcomes in life, you have to personally control to choose to remain optimistic.
There was a man (a dad) that loved his son so much that desired a favorable outcome for his son. The dad chose to keep his son's favorable outcome in the hands of Jesus. The circumstance was a platform for Jesus to teach the principle of " When dealing with all the IF'S in circumstances, consistent optimism regarding desired outcomes reside in 'you'. The control 'you' have to personally choose to remain optimistic is greater than the IF scenarios in circumstances. Jesus, basically taught that 'you simply have to personally choose to remain optimistic'".
Today's walkaway: Realistically, consistent optimism does exist and the ability for it (consistent optimism) to exist resides simply in you choosing for it to consistently exist. Choose to remain optimistic! ~ Charles L. Robinson Jr. (Edifying Christian Publications - Consolations LLC.)
"It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But IF you can do anything, take pity on us and help us. IF you can? said Jesus. 'Everything is possible for one who believes. Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, 'I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief!" Mark 9: 22-24
