3/6/26 "Capturing Life's Goodness" #2 ~ Originated by Charles L. Robinson Jr.
Hello, My ECP Family and whoever else finds this message. Today's series titled "Capturing Life's Goodness #2" is secured by Proverbs 17:13 as an original principle and fulfilled-finalized with same principled ultimate New Testament authority in Romans 12:12; 1 Peter 3:9 It consists of another biblical principle (as we continue to build upon other biblical principles) that's hopefully relevant (from the perspective of it being an effective reminder or first time acknowledgement but always applicable), definitely truthful, and purposefully encouraging towards your continued choice to seize your day to day fulfillments regarding your available abundant lives.
I'm really hoping that our discussion today blesses you with a reminder (or maybe a first acknowledgement to some) that "you really have tremendous control within the goodness of all your circumstances in life" that's to be known. Of course, your goodness does not exclude the aid of God, but the reality of the matter is, with God's aid you can choose goodness in all things or with God's aid you can choose not so good in all things. Therefore, your goodness really has a lot do with "you". What if I told you that there is a such thing as when everything is going good you recognize the good (most commonly, good is recognized when circumstances are perceived as good) BUT also when circumstances are perceived or actually not as good, you still legitimately see and believe goodness. Heck, even if it's not so good but "you choose to maintain good in it" you may be the only witness of good in it but it's still good.
The really good news about the previous "what if I told you" scenario in the above paragraph, is that it's not exaggeration or some wishful tale. For believers (which includes us ECP Family), when there is good -it's really good, and when it's perceived or actually not as good- it's still good. Why? Because there are good things that can be eventually discovered-revealed within the not as good circumstances but in the midst of discovering the other good within the not as good circumstances, you (My ECP Family and whoever chooses) be the good so there is some good and keep patiently waiting for God to reveal the other good beyond you as being the good. If good is good PLUS you choose to overcome not as good with good or another way of saying it "you choose to good when dealing with all evil" then "it's always good". Bad is a choice more than it is a problem liken to good is good because it's a choice. You can legitimately (no exaggeration) experience goodness day to day even if the goodness is you choosing good dealing with evil coming at you. Heck, even if the only good is because of your choice of doing good, treat your own self with your good. God wrote it (Proverbs 17:13; Romans 12:21; and 1 Peter 3:9), so you can learn of it, so you can choose it, so you can be it, so you can embrace it, now go get it!
You and your families have an amazing rest of your week. Know that I'm always praying to God at his throne in the third heaven with Jesus (the son of God) as the one mediator for the goodness in you and your families. I look forward to talking with you next week.
